From a mini critics perspective:
Okay, first things first, I really enjoyed this manga because of it's sense of humor, drama, and hints of romance shown by the characters. Kang Da, was one of my favorite characters in the manga because she wasn't the typical feminine character you usually read out. No, she eats like it's nobody's business, is the best street fighter in the area, and every once in a while is still a girl.
Woo Hyuk on the other hand, I also enjoyed his expressions and attitude towards the other characters. Being the second best fighter, he was very annoyed that he got saved by a girl. But, this is the exact reason I believe he was able to meet her and love all the same. He finds Kang Da intriguing and shows his feeling for her in a way an elementary schooler would -– by picking on her. Funny enough, this subject continues...

Jung In has been Kang Da’s best friend since they were small. So, of course, it is obvious to everyone that he has a crush on her and wants to impress her. You'll be able to feel at least a little or more pity for this character because he has loyalty and dug up his utmost love for her but she is still completely clueless.

Overall, this manga was exciting to read and I definitely do not regret it in the least! The drawing style was definitely unique and the backgrounds/ story was very clever too! It was fun to explore this manga and I hope more will come out by this author.

To start off, everyone knows the characters introduced make up the entire story, so lets give them some spotlight time. Most definitely, I love the personality of the characters and how they realistically support each other in the story. 
Narumi Takahiro, being the 'weirdo' in the classroom, has a very bright, intriguing, and friendly side to him. Anyone who reads deeper into this manga should fall in love with his character. Unless of course you are one of the fangirls who only go for the popular dudes in the story which would be  

In addition, I began to think that the author of this manga was very clever in the set-up or story behind the cause of the character's relationship (seat-change occurrence and rumors added together). Another detail that surprised me was that the author didn't hesitate to include a personal matter during the scene where during a run, Momoka experiences cramps and sits at the sidewalk to take a rest. Then she realizes that her period had come and unable to move, she starts to panic. Just after that, Takahiro runs by and he notices Momoka sitting by the sidewalk. Instantly worried, he goes up to her and asks if she's all right. Almost instantly, he realizes that she's on her period, he covers her with his jacket and carries her to the nurse. Momoka is touched by this gesture and starts a new perspective of Takahiro. I mean just take a poll here; raise your hand if you have ever read a manga or seen an anime where the creator includes explicit evidence of a character going through puberty? Noone? Didn't think so. This is one reason to think the series is unique!!
Next up, as she gradually discovers Takahiro's sweet side and falls in love with him, the events get more serious. I lost my mind where she gathered the courage up pretty late and decided to confess to him after graduation and he already left from the station for a forever distanced trip to Hokkaido.
Sadly, several years have already passed and Momoka is already a freshman in high school! This series gets SUPER HOT AND SPICY(to those who know: am i right? or am i right?) once rumors (yes more gossip and rumors announced by yours truly.. just kidding) are exclaiming a sexy/handsome freshman has come to the school. Obviously, hearing these whispers Momoka is shocked to find out they are talking about Narumi Takahiro.
Hmph, you thought that was getting hot? Just wait! Here's my favorite part…
Ongoing, Momoka becomes heartbroken after she confesses because she is PLAIN REJECTED because Takahiro has a "girlfriend". (WHHHHHHHAAAAAAT?!! Then why does he return the googoo eyes to her? : My thoughts exactly..) Anyways, they start the whole "Can we stay friends though?" crap, that also involves the "I try to move on with my life, but he always reminds me why I love him" stuff.
OOOOOOOH AND ONE MORE SECRET!! Because Momoka appears to be the innocent and lovely good girl type, there need not be any explanation for the reason guys notice and immediately fall in love with her. And the juicy stuff you knew would come right after… Yes, it starts making Takahiro jealous, despite the fact that he has a girlfriend.
(SPOILER ALERT  86% - DONT READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO)
The only reason Takahiro rejected Momoka is because he made a promise to his so-called 'girlfriend'. During the series, they show the scene that exposes the true reason Takahiro is stuck to his girlfriend for the time being. Being the responsible dude he is, he can't stand to break a promise, even if it means sacrificing life's true treasure; love.

I REALLY LOVED THIS MANGA AND I KNOW YOU WILL TOO! 
(um.. so what are you doing here? GO AND READ IT!)

Genres included: Comedy, drama, romance, slice of life, school life, and shoujo.

Recommended Audience: There is no amount of profanity, sexual content, or anything inappropriate for young readers. This is a Shoujo manga.

Anime Show Suggestion- Absolute Duo

Absolute Duo is a beautifully made anime about teens who try to get into a school of physical defense and fighting called Toryou Academy. To get in, they have to fight the person they're paired with. If they win, they are accepted into the school. If they lose, they're excluded. The students summon their own unique weapon and use it to their advantage. Toru is a student who gets in and he meets Julie. When the time comes to pick your "Duo", (permanent partner and room mate) they become a Duo. They make friends and practice fighting together. Whenever trouble comes to the academy, they help each other out. This is a comedy/action/romance with lots of suspense! 

Genres: Comedy, Action, Romance, Fantasy, and Harem!

How To Draw Anime Style

Want tips on drawing in the anime/manga style?

1. Draw the head first. Start with a more curved circle/oval shape, and then make it slightly point near the bottom of the head's shape(for the chin).

2. Practice drawing with body proportions. Try looking at real photos and draw the hands, arms, legs, feet and other basic parts of the human body. Remember: In real life, the space between the eyes and the side of the head should be the same on each side. Also, try to keep eyes at a correct angle. If you tilt them too much, your drawing will look like an alien. xD

3. If necessary, look at other artists for inspiration, but don't copy their style! You'll need to find your own unique style to use and draw with. The world already has so many copies… Help us out and become an original.

Once you start, try to draw regularly! This will help you keep improving.

10 Steps To Making Your Own Manga/ Graphic Novel

                    10 Steps To Making Your Own Manga Book

                                      

Thinking of creating your own manga?
Well so are your fellow contributors! 
Just keep reading for some great tips!

1. A good way to start off is to know your characters! Characters are THE MOST IMPORTANT part of a story! Knowing their name, personality, hobbies, and appearance is an extreme help! If you are stuck on character ideas, get ideas from or based off of your friends' personalities!

2. What will happen to start off your story? Some people like to use graphic organizers to lay out the events, problems, or solutions. Or some simply take notes on what they think will flow well!
3. Create deadlines to keep you motivated and constantly push you forward along the process!
4. Completed all of the steps above? Start practicing! For example, drawing your characters will improve your visual reference and hand stability. Sketching the anatomy of your characters in different scenes is optional but also helps :)
5. Now you are by most ready for the real deal! Create a layout of geometric shapes or shading so that you may separate different scenes and events, this way the reader won't get confused. Next, start penciling in your characters!
6. Then, revise and edit any changes that could be made to satisfy you and your audience. When you are certain it matches your taste, start outlining it in black ink, think permanent marker like sharpie, or a fine liner pen. Now it has become both official and professional!
7. Create a cover that may summarize your story, your characters, or an important event and include who authored and illustrated it, along with the title of course! If you want to make it Japanese style manga, the cover belongs on the back and you arrange the papers to read from right to left. Or you can keep it in the normal American style reading.
8. In addition, many authors choose to include a message from themselves explaining their inspiration or something they just want to share. Or they give you information about themselves. Of course this is optional but sometimes this catches a reader's attention!
9. Engrave a synopsis on the back of your book that will tell the reader what your book is about and you are pretty much set for your audience!
10. Advertise your manga, get it published if you like, give copies to your friends, or send it to your school or public library! Get it out to the world for it to read.

Anime Suggestion - Assassination Classroom

Now, we've probably all had a teacher we didn't like too much. Some of us have probably hated a few of our teachers. But, imagine, you have to kill the teacher. And you get paid for it! How much? 10 billion yen (that's 100 million U.S. dollars)!

I hope that gives a bit of perspective on what this anime is.

This anime centers around Nagisa Shiota, a student at a prestigious private school, in class E there. It was supposed to be a normal year for Nagisa and his classmates, until they meet their teacher, who is definitely about as far from normal as you can get.

The octopus-like creature that greets them on their first day of school tells the students he is their teacher for the rest of the year, and that he is also the one responsible for blowing up half of the moon in the previous year. The students are also told by the government that the creature wanted to teach at their school for their class that year, for some odd reason, and that they are the ones tasked with killing him by the end of the school year. If they fail, the creature will blow up the Earth, just like he did with the moon. When the reward of 10 billion yen for whoever kills the creature that is their teacher is announced, class E is changed for that year.

Killing their new teacher proves harder than they believed. Though the students are given special weapons with ammo that can easily slice through his tentacles, they can't manage to hit him at all. Their teacher is extremely intelligent, has an amazing sense of smell, and can travel at up to 20 machs in speed. Because of this, and because their teacher has no name, he is dubbed 'unkillable teacher' or 'Korosensei'.

Watch this anime to find out if these students have the guts or game to take on this special mission!!!

A young woman, Hana, meets a man at her university. At first, he walks off on her, but she eventually catches his eye. Then, very merrily indeed, they fall in love with each other. When he knows he can trust her innocent self enough he tells her his ancient secret:  He is part wolf, and even worst in his situation, the last one left. He was afraid she might not like him anymore, but she felt no different, because she believes that one fact doesn't change who he is or his feelings for her. They move in together and have a child named Yuki. She is a young, energetic troublemaker, but a good soul deep down. In the following spring they have another child named Ame. Now he, on the other hand, is shy and fearful of the world. But,one rainy evening, the father goes missing and Hana finds him in his wolf form-- dead. She is heartbroken, and scarred, but she tries to stay optimistic for her kids. Yuki and Ame start causing trouble for others in the apartment, associates are prying on Hana to look at her kids, and she is feeling hopeless. So, they are forced to move into the countryside. In the winter, Ame almost drowns, but thinks of it as his awakening. He is not his timid self anymore. He is brave and now prefers being a wolf. Yuki now prefers being human. Yuki starts 1st grade, and Ame does the next year. Yuki loves school and is a great student, while Ame hates school and skips it all the time. What will they decide to do with their lives?
 Find out by watching this amazing anime movie full of adventures at every moment!

Do you need help finding a good site/app for digital art? No need to worry! Ibis Paint X is a great app for digital art! There are many different tools to use, and you can choose if you want it SD(Standard Definition) or HD(High Definition)! One of the clever options are the given capability of mixing your own colors on the color wheel! It has an airbrush tool, digital pen, fat brushes, sized brushes, and more! I use Ibis Paint X, all the time! Plus, you don't need internet connection for it to work! Once you finish your drawing, you can even watch a speed paint(quick video that shows your steps) of it! Now of course it will take some practice to get the hang of it at first, but it's very easy to use! This app is available for free in the app store, however it includes minor ads at the top of the creation page and are quite harmless. But, if this tends to bother you, the ad-free version costs about $2.  Lastly, there is an optional divide where you may share your creations if you please. Can't find a place to read new manga for free? Well now I've found it for you! This app is an awesome tool where you can search for your favorite manga, download chapters to read when currently offline, and filter your catalog according to the genres you like or the manga contributors you wish to read from. I have found lots of new and fun manga on this app, and I love it! If reading in English ever appears as a problem, you are always able to switch to a different language in which you are comfortable with. I always love to use this to find new manga after reading previous series! I have read almost 20 manga after downloading this app and never once have I regretted getting it. During road trips, commercials, before you go to bed, when you wake up, summer reading projects, you name it; it's there for you! I will admit it won't have 'some' manga but it has over 3,000 within its catalog so no need to worry! If you would like to hear some reviews on manga from this app then be sure to leave a comment below or a message in the chat room on what you want to see. Anime Movie Suggestion - Ponyo of the Earth and Sea

An Adventurous Film Created By Hayao Miyazaki

During a forbidden journey to the surface world, a goldfish princess (Yuria Nara) becomes more and more human-like after befriending a village boy.

From a mini critic's perspective: Okay, first things first, let me just say that I have watched this classic anime movie almost 50 times and I LOVE it. Ponyo along with the rest of the characters you meet during the movie are extremely friendly and have mysteriously amazing personalities. You will certainly be amazed at the beautiful illustration of the scenery surrounding every moment captured by the director using its characters. This is one of the most COLORFUL films I have ever reviewed and enjoy the hints of humor sprinkled throughout. The many themes and messages that can be defined in every anime related to childhood is nowhere near the extensive effort put into this film to express imagination through fantasy and some drama. It also shows childhood joy and the glory of the world and not the the over protectively caused bad part of it; from the perspective of unordinary children.One of the events that may be unclear to some people is that within her adventures, she fall in love with the village boy but later on her father(a sorcerer) is not pleased whatsoever due to his protective nature. Although we know typical movies and not just anime have girls who are brokenhearted by breakups or cheating situations, some having mothers or fathers saying "I told you so,". But, this reason in particular is so that she does not get hurt by the human feelings and not regret either. (Think about it)In addition, a somewhat hidden resemblance with Ponyo's desire to be a human being to the balance of the world and its content, adds some natural dramatic substance that lead to an important climax in the movie.The film gives you a whiff of experience beginning to feel almost like you are able to dive through a strange and beautiful world rather than merely watching it off of a screen. You will even feel that the film aims to flow at the pace of real life. In all, this movie tends to make one wish they could create their own character to live in this storyline and be happy as they are after the movie(me after almost every anime). In conclusion, Ponyo will always remain a childhood favorite, is a joy to watch, and can be described as a fascinating, heartwarming, and a gem shining bright to catch your attention that never fails to please. This is one heck of a calm movie that I would definitely recommend you to watch. If this is of any concern, it is for the eyes of all ages from children and up!

                My Neighbor Totoro

Two sisters encounter magnificent spirit creatures in the woodland forest near the house they have just recently moved into. Mei, being the youngest sister, is just as adventurous as her older sibling. They both do almost everything together and love to explore! Satsuki, being the eldest sibling, tries to stay as mature as possible around the house; cleanib, cooking, etc. Watch this anime movie to see the peaceful Kusakabe's adjust to the scenery of helpful spirits!

From a mini critic's perspective: Personally, this is one of the movies I regret not having enough time to watch over and over again. I have only watched it like 3 times but I really LOVE this movie. It visually describes a siblings' constant relationship in every scene,comprehends an extremely understandable theme, and does not include much any drama caused by villains or bad guys that disrupt the movie.
Even greater, this movie is released towards the audience of everyone and no content whatsoever could ever be described as inappropriate, for your mindly sake. In addition, this adds to the many anime soundtracks that I have fallen in love with. Call me weird but whenever I am about to blog, write a story, draw, etc. my main source of inspiration is MUSIC! As for peaceful anime, I always go on youtube and search for their classic soundtracks when its not the latest hit tracks today. But thats enough about me XD 
Many of the outdoor scenes that appear frequently through the film are very beautiful and well illustrated. Not to mention, the fact that plenty of anime I can name have horrible english dubs, this one has fairly well picked voices fit for the characters!
Speaking of characters, every character you can name whether or not they are a humungous part of the storyline, are very likable and friendly.

In all, this was a fantastic and peaceful film if I may say and I would definitely recommend it to all of you Otakus reading this!

Negima!

Negima!

Negi Springfield, a young boy with magical powers and a special staff, is sent on a challenging quest in order to continue his training. For him to fulfill his mission, he relocates to Mahora academy and teaches English to 31 female students who all seem to have the likes for him. Awaiting action and misery, the darkness starts to lurk closer to the students and unaware staff. Hopefully, with the help of his fellow friends, Negi will be able to stop them and protect those he loves. Will he be able to work with all these teenage girls? Watch the anime or read the manga to find out!

From a mini critic's perspective: This was a fairly decent anime because it was colorful and always introduced you to new characters with deep personalities that were quite well thought in my opinion. Each persona contributed to the story and was not just a "Hello, Im Here Now Forget About Me Because I Have Nothing To Do With This Storyline" kind of character. At first when I was reading the manga I was thinking about how unique it was to choose a young child to teach older girls in an anime show as well. This allowed the concept to be very different from others and probably attracted more of an audience. 

The anime was more bright than the original but I must say that the voices could be improved. At some points they were a bit too lousy and unreasonable and at some points they were perfect for the scene. Overall, from a reader/watcher's perspective I can say that Negima is a recommended anime to view and a manga to read.

I'm sorry this was a short review but I guess that would just make you want to experience it for yourself even more :)

Ai Yori Aoshi

Anime Suggestions - Ai Yori Aoshi
(Bluer Than Indigo)

 Kaoru Hanabishi just had a desire to help, and Aoi Sakuraba was just desperate to find her first love. They never realized they were looking for each other. Ever since their arranged marriage 18 years ago, Aoi had been in love with Kaoru. She had learned that the marriage was canceled after she visited Tokyo to see him. Although, Kaoru becomes impressed by Aoi's loyalty, beauty, and innocence. In effect of his thoughts, and to accept her affection, he realizes he might return to the Hanabishi clan while tolerating the emotional and physical pain as he did during his childhood. Watch while both their love and self-control is put to the test once she moves in and he attempts to maintain his gentlemanliness.

From a Mini Critic's Perspective: One thing that can be said about Ai Yori Aoshi is that it is sorta Half-and-Half. One part of it aims to be a dramatic romance, serious-toned, with a pinch of comedy, relating to some other anime or manga. As for the other part, aims to be an "All Girls Against The Amount Of One Guy" complication like Love Hina by Ken Akamatsu(author of Negima!). Those differences aside, Kaoru and Aoi are wonderfully thoughtful characters. A lot of viewers think about how perfect Aoi seems, taking the role of the landlord, cooking/serving dinner, cleans, is optimistic about every task, very obedient, and so on. However, like us real human beings, each and every character is more complex on the inside than we let on. Stresses overwhelm many, including Aoi. Let alone the fact that she was bred to be the model wife for a man who will soon run her family's conglomerate. Every now and then Aoi comes to her senses and focuses on being an especially helpful wife to Kaoru and not just a plain trophy wife that we all think of.

Importantly, the two head characters have complicated families, which destined their relationship even more. This also cleared up the fact that they both(EVERYONE IN THIS WORLD) need someone in their life to give them the support they need. Which leads to the next detail...

The relationship described in this particular anime is all emotional, awkward, bittersweet, thoughtful, as well as curiosity-causing. Although its not one easy to describe, its great seeing the couple wander as individuals, and achieving much more than the hurt they have experienced, through each other. This couple is one of the very few that defines reality and not just kissy-kissy, grabby-grabby, cartoony stuff.

Also, in difference to the *now and then* minor sidetracking of the show, as problems and new characters are thrown in the couple finds out more about each other and can easily identify their fate. There is a lot more to the story and more I would write in this review but unfortunately it is something one cannot ever describe in just one day. Never to go into depth within a century either. I hope you will choose to watch this tempting anime that gives almost anyone a feeling of fun and easy understanding.

One of my best friends gave me a note with a drawing that said what they loved about me and how happy they are to be my friend and I felt so special, and invincible. 

It made me feel like riding along on a shooting star :)

In this futuristic anime, a virtual reality game called Sword Art Online is released. Using a brand new technology by the name of Nerve Gear, players can control their avatars using their own minds, and experience the world of Aincrad to the fullest. However, challenges become extremely deadly when the creator of the game locks everyone out of the real world by hijacking every Nerve Gear device so that if you are disturbed physically or mentally, you will die in real life. For example, if your parents or siblings were to unleash you from the Nerve Gear to remind you its dinnertime, you would die. Or if a beast within the game kills you, you'd be in the same situation. Although, there is a way out. In order to earn their freedom, the players must clear the 100th floor and defeat the final boss. Make sure you check out this amazing, action-packed, sci-fi fantasy anime that is full of adventure!

This is a highly recommended series for all who love to read manga!
What is it about?
 Just keep reading:

Maximum Ride can fly and feel the breeze in the earth's atmosphere. She and all of the members that belong in her flock: Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman(Gazzy), and Angel are considered the average kids. Except for the fact that they are fused with avian DNA of course, which allows them to fly with their own wings! You might think that this experience is a dream come true, but for the flock, it is a living nightmare. When the dreadful laboratory they know as the "School" starts threatening them, challenging them, and torturing them, they have no choice but to fight back with all they got. Plus, Fang and Max's relationship starts to clog up her leadership skills more than they need to.

How did I find this awesome series?
I first discovered this series when I was taking a dreadful test in my school library on the computers. When I finished I browsed their selections and found the manga shelves. Once I touched the spines, I knew it was something I couldn't pass up. So I checked out the first two books and read them within 2 days. By then I was up to Book 5, and recommended it to my friends. They loved it as well! Once I finished the series up to Book 8, I was hungry for more :D

Mew Mew Power is quite the interesting and calmly adventurous anime/ manga. Their anime show has been watched by hundreds of thousands of people around the world! 'What is this show even about?' 

Just read:

Zoey Hanson lives an average school life crushing on the hottest and most athletic guy who attends; Mark. She starts losing focus and falling head over heels when he takes her on a picnic. Strangely enough, mysterious events complicate Zoey's life every day. When she is investigated by two dreamy guys named Elliot and Wesley, things get more juicy. Turns out, she is an endangered wildcat genetically fused with her human being. How can you not love watching members unlock new powers? Watch as Mark and Zoey realize their strong relationship, Zoey adds new unique characters to the heroic team, and fight dangerous missions!
